Electrical Program

Our Electrical program provides instruction to beginner students to get an orientation to basic construction skills and safety as well as specific training that will enable students to perform proficiently as electricians on the job site.

This program will offer students classroom instruction on technical skills but will predominately offer students hands-on experience to practice skills in a realistic setting with supervision and guidance. Students will be able to practice and enhance their electrical skills that will enable them to work on residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

The Electrical program is comprised of 4 terms and the length of each term is 50 weeks.

Core Curriculum

Our core curriculum includes skills such as: Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction Math, Introduction to Hand Tools, to Power Tools, Introduction to Construction Drawings, Basic Communication Skills, Basic Employability Skills, Introduction to Material Handling. These skills are incorporated into multiple lessons and levels throughout the entirety of each program.

If you have previously completed any Electrical Level in NCCER’s curriculum, you may be eligible to move forward in the program and begin at a level above Level 1. Any previous NCCER education may be verified by contacting Achieve Trade School staff before enrollment.

HVAC Program

Our HVAC program provides instruction to beginner students to get an orientation to basic construction skills and safety as well as specific training that will enable students to perform proficiently as HVAC Technicians on the job site.

This program will offer students classroom instruction using NCCER curriculum on technical skills but will predominately offer students hands-on experience to practice skills in a realistic setting with supervision and guidance. Students will be able to practice and enhance their trade skills that will enable them to work on residential, commercial, industrial, and maintenance sites.

The HVAC program is comprised of 4 terms:
Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4

Our classroom uses online resources for textbook access, homework assignments, and its testing assignments through NCCER.

Credits at Achieve Trade School

Our enrollments do not require anyone to sign a contract or agreement.       

Credits earned at Achieve Trade School may not transfer to another educational institution.  Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by Achieve Trade School.  You should obtain confirmation that Achieve Trade School will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.

You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at Achieve Trade School to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at Achieve Trade School prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement.  The ability to transfer credits from Achieve Trade School to another educational institution may be very limited.  Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at Achieve Trade School if you enroll in another educational institution.
